She has attended University of Mary Hardin-Baylor where she received a degree in education and then attended St. Mary s University of San Antonio School of Law where she received a Doctorate of Jurisprudence which enabled her to start practicing law in the United States of America and Texas. She was admitted to the Texas State Bar of Attorneys and U.S. District Court, Norther District of Texas in 1992.
She is an active and good standing member of the Tarrant County Bar Association State Bar of Texas Tarrant County Family Bar Association.

In This case the Father of the child was deceased and the Parents of the Father sued for Visitation Rights under the Texas Family Code.
